People are often moved to accomplish great things; all it takes is a little motivation. People do things because we want to, and sometimes because there are consequences of not doing something other times there are rewards- either way people are acting because of what they get out of it. It is no different at work or at play. At work the benefits include a good pay rate, prestige or recognition. Some people work to get those rewards and be impressive, others fall in to the category of working but taking it easy to still get paid. Figure out what your fellow workers want, and how to give it to them as long as it is in reason.
