
Quality of life is what we all want. Good health helps us achieve a high quality of life. Fitness makes us want to live it every day. It's important to stay in shape and eat healthy foods, because obesity is spreading across the U.S.A.. Even if you are in shape you still need to keep eating healthy.
A new study shows that if your friends are overweight it's likely that you can become overweight too.
So to stay in shape you need to eat healthy foods and work out. Here are some tips to help get you started living your new healthy life:
1. Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Walk your dog; chase your kids; toss balls with friends, mow the lawn.
2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise

3. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life.
