Being positive is one of the best ways to be a supportive colleague. When things go wrong, or projects hit roadblocks being positive can really turn the situation around. A positive attitude means a lot to people who work with you, so communicating through questions or suggestions rather than complaints can really help. Volunteer suggestions on how to mitigate the problem and don’t be offended if they’re not always implemented but providing food for thought could lead to another solution.

In business a positive attitude is so key. Even in looking up references one of the first questions asked is whether or not the person has a positive attitude.
