Trying to get keep track of your daily e-mails may be a struggle, but there are some things you can do to make sure that your e-mails are read by the recipient and answered properly. The first thing is to always add a subject line, never leave it blank. This one line is used to grab the reader’s attention, notifying them of the information in the e-mail.

Because e-mail is also very cost effective, if you have several points to discuss write a separate e-mail for each topic. Keeping the topics clear and concise will encourage a quick reply. Make sure you specify if a follow up either by e-mail, or phone is necessary and also include all of your contact information to guarantee you will receive the follow up.
