Having a good memory is good for your career. Making presentations without note cards, learning and remembering the names and positions of colleagues is also key; however, our memories are not always reliable so here are some tips that can be used to help.

Quickly repeating new information such as someone’s name upon meeting them can be used to help your short term memory.

To improve long term memory pay extra attention to what you need to remember, give it meaning, repeat it and even use a little creativity to relate it to something else that will “trigger” your memory.
